Visite guidée de l'abbaye d'Abondance
Accompanied by an interpreter, you'll tour the church and cloister before taking a free look at the sacred art exhibition. Finish your visit by strolling through the former orchard and enjoy a breathtaking view of the monument's architecture.
A tour of the church, cloister and monastery will help you understand the spaces that make up an abbey. You'll be surprised by the 19th-century trompe-l'œil decorations in the abbey church, amazed by the 15th-century murals, and serenely enthralled by the calm of the former orchard. All these emotions can be shared as you delve into the history of this site, and into the daily lives of the monks who contributed to the community's influence until the abbey was abolished at the end of the 18th century.
